Working it out: 14/01/2012
Been working hard right through the time everyone else called “the holidays”. Of the 20 days since Christmas, I’ve done PhD work on 16 of those days. I’m going to give myself a little pat on the back for that effort! Especially since this week has been stressful with data issues and whatnot.
I was beginning to feel the strain yesterday, and started to realise that I was not going to have this weekend off to recover from it, either. Came in to uni to work through some more stats and data, and though I’ve gotten through what I wanted to today, my upcoming deadlines will have me working straight through until at least Thursday of next week. Bit of a bummer…
I considered dropping my gym session today, just as I’d done yesterday, so I could get through some extra work and push ahead in my timelines. But, better judgement stepped in and I suited up for some exercise.
It’s funny how the world seems to right itself after a good workout.
